“Then God said to Jacob, GO UP TO BETHEL and SETTLE THERE, and BUILD AN ALTAR THERE to GOD, who APPEARED to you when you were fleeing from your brother Esau.”

SCRIPTURES FOR THE DAY:

Genesis 28:10-22

As this Year of GOD’S POWER & GLORY is unfolding gradually, The WORD of GOD made ALIVE to you today is; TO GO BACK TO BETHEL IN A HURRY WHILE YOU STILL CAN, FOR BETHEL IS NOW CALLING YOUR NAME. Your journey away from BETHEL is long overdue; you kept postponing your return. You kept giving reasonable and unreasonable excuses for why you have to stay far away from your BETHEL. I like you to know this day, that life will only get worse if you don’t GO BACK TO YOUR BETHEL NOW! Brother Jacob had an encounter at a city called Luz, but that encounter birthed a new name to that location and that name is BETHEL. It means the HOUSE OF GOD. A place where God dwells. The Gate of Heaven. But much more than that, BETHEL here is:

#. God’s place of COVENANT with you. – Gen.28:13-15

#. God’s place of PROMISES to you.

#. Your place of VOW to God. – Gen.28:20

#. Your place of ALTAR OF WORSHIP and PRAYERS to God. – Gen.28:22

#. Your place of GOD’S BLESSINGS to your generation. – Gen.35:9

After that encounter, Jacob left for Aram and was carried away with his love for Rachel that he had to work for fourteen years for her father in other to marry her. During this process he had gone so deep into the business of his father in-law that it became a problem for him to separate from him. Until God began to create major problems for him in Aram (Gen.31:1-3), and commanded him to go back to his father’s land. Yet at his return, he went to settle at Shechem in Canaan forgetting his place of fellowship with his God and his vow to return there someday. So God created another major problem for him (Gen.34) and then reminded him of his BETHEL. So, Jacob immediately gathers his family together and began to make preparations to GO BACK TO BETHEL.

Treasured of God, ask yourself this day; are you settling at your BETHEL at the moment? Don’t you think your time has long expired to GO BACK TO Your BETHEL? God permit His children many times to go from BETHEL to acquire needed skills, knowledge, experience and others as regards our Destiny Assignments, but when that is completed, BETHEL is calling us to return to base for Renewal of Covenant, Vows and Strength. But no, we have already deepened our hands into so many things that tell us we don’t need the BETHEL experience/encounter again to fulfill Destiny. BETHEL IS CALLING ON YOU THAT IT IS TIME TO RETURN. Be Blessed in Jesus Name. PEACE BE UNTO YOU.

Bethel Is The Secret Place Of Fellowship And Renewal Of Covenant And Vows.

PRAYER BULLET:

Lord Jesus, help me to consistently Go Back To My Bethel when necessary. Amen.

Holy Spirit, open my heart of understanding to see the unfilled Vows I made to God that should be fulfilled in Jesus Name.

Spirit Divine, lead me in my journey this year to where manifestation of God’s Power and Glory is waiting for me to be displayed in Jesus Name.
